The best thing I have gained from being a member of MotivatedTruths is 3 of the greatest friends who really know me and support me.  Walking this journey is not the easiest.  Having people around you who really know your challenges and can help motivate you to leap over them and to cry with you when you get beaten by them really does make a difference!

Joining MT has given me the chance to get to know three of the most loving, supportive, affectionate, playful friends I have EVER had! I have a really tough time with depression, knowing that I have friends just a phone call, text or email away makes my life a lot easier to bear. I know that if I have a bad day, I can count on them to cheer me up, give me advice or snap me back to reality. Any time, any day, any situation, they are here for me.

 

Why are we losing weight?

 

1. FOR OURSELVES.

2. Our hearts are being put to too much work.

3. Clothes that fit!

4.  To get off my meds!

5. To be able to run around with our animals

6. To safely have kids some day

7.  To fit into the wedding dress of MY choice … (Not one that “fits)

8. to wear sexy lingerie

9.  OH oh … to be able to do it ON TOP!

10. to be able to see my feet again.

11. To be able to keep up with it alllllllll day.

12. to feel good about myself - a feeling of accomplishment

13. To not be the 'fat friend' any more.

14. To be able to ride a horse (I’ve always wanted to ride a horse!)

15. TO INSPIRE MY MOM!

16. So I don’t have to suck and slide anymore!!!!!

17. so my feet won't swell as bad!

18. so my thighs don't touch

19. To shock my doctor!

20. to look hot at Sonya's wedding!

21. To not hear the fat slap when I run!

22. To loose my fat pouch by my arm pits!!!

23. to not have to wish my friends will leave so I can pig out in secret

24. to not go to the ice cream stand on the way back from driving Paul to pick up his truck and park around the corner and hide when I see his truck come by.

25. to not eat in secret

26. To not cry anymore after I eat.

27. to be able to DANCE w/ Jim at my wedding w/o doing the “fat dance!”  (you know when you can’t get your arms around each other because your belly’s interfere!!! )

28. To make you guys proud.

29. To feel s e x y for once. Like on Halloween!

30. To go into a crowded place and not feel like a sweaty sardine!

31. To not tell myself that I hate myself every time I get dressed.

32. To be able to go into the ladies room and not have to go into the handicapped stall to pee

33. To not have a Saturn ring around my body when I peel off my jeans.

34. To not feel worthless when I see a guy I like. ("he would NEVER go for me, I'm way too ugly and fat.)

35. To feel worthy of my fiancés love.

36. To get a better nights sleep.

37. To feel comfortable dancing again!

38. To not be so lazy

39. To be a good role model for my nieces & nephews.

40. To help my back pains.

41. to feel in control

42. To love myself

43. to not have to wear sweat shirts all the time because I'm so self conscious.

44. So as to not gain any more weight.

45. To fit in the desks at school

46. To not sit at my desk and sweat just because

47. to feel beautiful inside and out

48. To be able to shop anywhere I want for clothes!

49. To help other people realize they are strong also, and can loose poundage!

50. To be able to fit into the stadium seats when I go to see my Yankees play.

51. OH! So my bras will bit better and I don't have back boobs.

52. or pit boobs!

53. I LOOOOVE taking pictures, I would love to see myself in them for once. I usually HATE pictures of myself.
